Terms and Conditions for Registration and Payment – Summer School Programme
1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions govern the registration and payment process for our Summer School Programme. By registering for the programme, participants agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
2. Registration Process
- Eligibility: Registration for the Summer School Programme is open to students aged 16-18, or as otherwise specified.
- Application: Interested participants must complete the online registration form through our official website. Incomplete or incorrect forms may resulting in a delayed or rejected application.
- Confirmation: Registration is only confirmed upon receipt of the full deposit and a confirmation email from us. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
- Documentation: Participants must submit any required documents, such as proof of identity or academic qualifications, by the specified deadlines.
3. Payment Terms
- Deposit: A non- refundable deposit of £500 is required upon registration. This deposit secures your place in the programme and will be deducted from the total fee.
- Full Payment: The full programme fee is due by 14th April 2025, or as specified in the confirmation email. Failure to pay the full amount by the deadline may resulting forfeiting your place On the programme.
- Late Payments: Any payments made after the due date may incur additional charges. If full payment is not received by the specified deadline, your place may be forfeited without a refund.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Payments can be made via:
- Bank transfer (details provided in the confirmation email)
- PayPal
- Credit/Debit Card (through our secure payment gateway)
- Other Payment Methods (e.g. Apple Pay)
4. Refund and Cancellation Policy
• Deposit: The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Cancellations by Participants: If you need to cancel your participation, you must notify us in writing. The following refund policy applies:
o Cancellations made 6 weeks prior to the programme start date will receive a refund of 100% of the full fee, excluding the deposit.
o No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 6 weeks before the programme starts.
• Cancellations by the Organiser: In the unlikely event that the programme is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund, including the deposit.
5. Programme Changes
We reserve the right to make changes to the programme, including but not limited to scheduling, location, and content. Participants will be notified in advance of any significant changes. We will not be held liable for any costs incurred by participants due to changes in the programme.
6. Behaviour and Conduct
Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and responsibly throughout the programme. Any participant whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate or disruptive may be asked to leave the programme without a refund. This includes, but is not limited to, violations of programme rules, damage to property, or disrespect toward fellow participants or staff.
7. Health and Safety
• Medical Information: Participants are required to provide relevant health and medical information during the registration process. This information is necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
• Insurance: Participants are responsible for obtaining any necessary health or travel insurance for the duration of the programme.
• COVID-19 Compliance: Participants must comply with any health and safety measures, including those related to COVID-19, as outlined by the organisers or local authorities.
8. Liability
We will not be held responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property during the programme, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
9. Data Protection
Any personal data provided during registration will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By registering for the programme, participants consent to the collection, use, and storage of their personal data for the purposes of managing the programme.
10. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during the programme, including course content, are for the personal use of registered participants only and must not be reproduced or distributed without our written permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England, United Kingdom.
