The programme incorporates a cross disciplinary project where students create and launch a student marketplace from concept to launch in just two weeks. Ulearniverse Collaborative Project: “The Creative Marketplace”
The Mission: To design, build, and pitch a pilot for The Market by Ulearniverse—a real e-commerce platform selling products featuring student-created art.
Project Theme
Create. Collaborate. Commercialise.
Cross-Disciplinary Entrepreneurship Project: “The Market by Ulearniverse”
Students work across disciplines to design, brand, and promote original creative products inspired by the artworks developed during the camp. The outcome will feed into The Market by Ulearniverse — a digital showcase and online store where students’ work can be featured and sold (with royalties returned to them).
Arts & Design: The Creative Agency
Task: Produce a commercial-grade collection of original artworks for merchandise.
Deliverables:
- A curated portfolio of 2+ designs, formatted for print/digital.
- A creative brief for each piece.
- Incentive: Selected designs earn a 15% royalty on all net sales.
STEM & Computing: The Tech Builders
Task: Develop a functional prototype of the marketplace website.
Deliverables:
- A live, clickable web prototype (using a platform like Carrd, Webflow, or coded from scratch).
- An integrated AI feature (e.g., a product recommender or style matcher).
- Technical documentation.
Business & Entrepreneurship: The Launch Team
Task: Create the full business and go-to-market strategy.
Deliverables:
- A comprehensive business plan (mission, model, financials).
- A targeted marketing campaign & Campus pop up sale (including real social media assets).
- A 3-minute investor-style pitch.

Campus Life & Student Experience
Academic Facilities
Classes will take place at the University of Wollongong Malaysia campus, located at Utropolis Glenmarie, Jalan Kontraktor U1/14, Seksyen U1, 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor. Students will have access to classroom space and all university facilities, including the library and computer labs.
Accommodation
Students will be accommodated on the student halls situated on the same floor as the camp classrooms. Male and female halls are separate.

For a premium accommodation option, students can stay next door at the Mercure Hotel, Glemarie, conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from campus. This option is based on twin sharing and includes access to all hotel facilities, along with a daily buffet breakfast. A extra £500 is required for this booking for 14 nights. Weekend Activities
Our weekend excursions will take you to pristine beaches and the breath-taking Genting Highlands. The itinerary also includes visits to vibrant creative hubs like GMBB, alongside guided walking and shopping tours in the iconic KLCC area. As a highlight, Malaysia boasts three of the world's most impressive skyscrapers: the majestic Petronas Towers, the Menara Tower with its spectacular revolving restaurant, and the record-breaking Merdeka 118 - currently ranked as the second-tallest building in the world. We plan to visit at least one of these architectural marvels, schedule permitting.
