Joy Musa is a senior commercial and international education leader with over 20 years of experience driving growth and innovation across multiple industries. Her career spans senior global sales leadership and international education, including her tenure as Chief Recruitment Officer for a leading UK higher education institution.
Recognised among the Top 50 Voices in European International Higher Education (The PIE, 2023), Joy has led international student recruitment growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships worldwide, and played a key role in scaling QA’s global education business from £2.5 million to over £100 million.
Her journey reached a turning point when she extended her focus from helping institutions recruit talent to empowering the talent itself. After seeing first-hand that the system excelled at selecting talent but could do better at democratising opportunity, she founded Ulearniverse to deliver the ‘Unfair Advantage’: future skills, global exposure, and the leadership mindset that transform ambitious students into borderless leaders.
Her mission is personal and purposeful. A passionate advocate for technology and equity in Africa, Joy has long championed innovation that uplifts marginalised communities. Through Ulearniverse, she brings together her corporate expertise, strategic acumen, and lifelong commitment to impact - empowering students to learn, earn, travel, and grow on a truly global stage.
Through initiatives such as Project 1M, Joy’s bold mission is to impact one million underprivileged children by 2035, harnessing the multiplier effect of mentorship, opportunity, and access.
